About
Us
Women in Insurance & Financial
Services commitment to education, support and success for women
in the rooted tradition that dates back to the Women Leaders
Round Table founded in 1936.That organization later began operating
as a conference of National Association of Life Underwriters
(NALU).
The group became an independent
industry organization in 1987, and in 2000 the group became Women
in Financial Services to reflect the inclusion of all women in
our industry.
Women in Insurance & Financial
Services has maintained an unwavering focus on its mission: To
Support, Encourage and Advance the Success of Women in the Financial
Services Industry. Most importantly,
the group has built a strong network of women helping each other
develop the success that lies within each of us.
The Atlanta Chapter of Women
in Insurance and Financial Services is currently the largest
chapter in the organization with a membership of over 70 motivated
and influencial members of our community. Many of our members
credit WIFS and the relationships they've developed within the
organization for the success they've been able to achieve in
their businesses.
