Emily Richardson

Emily relocated from Norfolk, VA to Atlanta in 2015.

She studied Sociology, Human Services, and Marketing at ODU and got her start in the industry with Ameriprise in 2005.  In 2007, she joined Lincoln Financial Advisors and was drawn in by their culture and motto to “Serve First, Last, and Always”.  After obtaining her Series 24 license in 2008, she began to specialize in regulatory and organizational compliance, as well as cross training in operations. Now, as Business Operations Manager, she strives to ensure her financial planners and staff are well trained and well taken care of.

Emily is engaged with the local community of women in the financial services and insurances industry, both through her work on the board of WIFS-Atlanta since 2016 and as a committee member of her organization’s WISE program.  WISE (Women Inspiring Supporting Educating) has hosted multiple community-building events for Atlanta and Nashville, TN in conjunction with WIFS.  Emily has served on the Mentorship and Membership Committee of the WISE program as she is passionate about helping develop strong women leaders in this industry.

In her free time she loves to dance, commute on her bicycle, and treat her husband, three girls, and son to the great things metro Atlanta has to offer a young family.
