Our speakers will be presenting stories about brilliant women in history who have been inspirational and exceptional in business and have contributed to moving women forward in some way.   Join us as we learn from the stories of several women who have paved a way for us.

About our Speakers:  

Janet Fishman, J.D., President and CEO of HOPE Organizers, Inc., is a Professional Organizer. She specializes in organizing paper so that clients can find their important documents for their day-to-day household and business management as well as for estate planning, insurance, and investment purposes. Janet serves as the Executive Director of WIFS-Los Angeles and NAIFA-Los Angeles where she organizes events and behind-the-scenes details. Janet also serves as the Executive Director of NAIFA-Silicon Valley and as the Chapter Administrator for WIFS-Portland.

Darren Larsen Patnoe is an attorney in private practice in Camarillo, California, specializing in federal and state tax controversies, estate planning, wills and trusts, and bankruptcy. At the outset of her legal career she worked as a tax attorney in the Office of Chief Counsel for the Internal Revenue Service in three districts for many years. Her tenure included service as a trial attorney, Assistant District Counsel and the Acting District Counsel. For 8 years during her career with the IRS, she represented the IRS in Bankruptcy Court as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the Alaska District and the Central District of California. Darren is on the National Board of Women In Insurance and Financial Services holding the office of Secretary, and she has been active in the Los Angeles Chapter of WIFS serving as Treasurer.

Bobbi Barbera is a LPL Financial Advisor with Waddell & Reed, Inc. Waddell & Reed, Inc. was acquired by LPL Financial in 2021. With over 27 years of experience in financial services, Ms. Barbera concentrates in working with individuals, families, and business owners primarily in the entertainment industry.  Bobbi serves in leadership roles with WIFS Los Angeles and NAIFA Los Angeles.
