Our Mission
Women in Insurance & Financial Services (WIFS) commitment to education, support and success for women is rooted in tradition that dates back to the Women Leaders Round Table founded in 1936. That organization later began operating as a conference of National Association of Life Underwriters (NALU).
The group became an independent industry organization in 1987, and in 2000 the group became Women in Financial Services to reflect the inclusion of all women in our industry.
WIFS has maintained an unwavering focus on its mission: To Support, Encourage and Advance the Success of Women in the Financial Services Industry. Most importantly, the group has built a strong network of women, locally and nationally, helping each other develop the success that lies within each of us.
The Atlanta Chapter of WIFS is growing and looking for new members from all areas of the financial services, including influential members of our community. Many of our members credit WIFS and the relationships they’ve developed within the organization for the success they’ve been able to achieve in their businesses.
You can contact any of our members or email wifsatlanta@gmail.com for more information on our organization.
